We just finished unpacking our suitcases from Atlanta and catching up with our families and wanted to show you design trends that we saw while picking up some great new items to carry for our Spring Sale. Yes, we saw lots of bodies and an errant owl or two from last year but what really struck us was the ode to vintage style furniture...replicated of course.
We saw many Industrial Carts...we have the REAL ones!
High back sofa's were common in most every vendor area.
Metals were everywhere.
I have never been one to follow the latest trends for I often just do what appeals to me and what "feels" right. I was happy to see what seems like an appreciation for the past and the beauty of the past in some of the present day design. Here's to a year with lots of design that feels right...and looks good!
